Is it President Obama's job to HOLD THE HAND OF THE GOP's LEADER when he LIES HIS ASS OFF?

Yes, President Obama was not all that aggressive. Yes, he could have done better. But this, "that means, by extrapolation, Mitt Romney is entitled to LIE HIS ASS OFF AND WE'LL MAKE THAT PRESIDENT OBAMA'S FAULT" meme is getting MORE than tired.

Oh, and please don't try and postulate that I have not criticized the President before. Really.

7. I couldn't agree more

I was so distressed by the debate and what I still have to say was Obama's failure to dispute Romney's lies effectively that I forgot that it really wasn't his job to catch and refute EVERY STINKIN' LIE of Romney's on the fly in front of a national audience. It's the job of reporters to do that. Instead most of them were all "ooh, that was a pretty weak performance, that's a game changer" instead of "OMG Romney just lied in front of God and everybody!"
