My Republican friend was here this morning, again with all kinds of misinformation. He said that Obama was going to fire his team because of the debate results, I told him, no, Obama took responsibility for it and will fix it. And he said that Obama was conceding Ohio, already closing four campaign offices. I, again, told him no, but maybe he was confusing it with Romney conceding Pennsylvania.
Then I wondered, if we can find out who is pulling out of what state, we can get a better idea of what the map looks like. So, what's the news in that department?

(579 posts)that ignorant? I did a google search and found such a Republican site, where Obama was supposed to be conceding Ohio, but it was to Hillary back in 2008! Geez!

(46,745 posts)BINGO! It's why our relationship became so strained recently. I finally told him that I needed to stay focused on a project I'm trying to complete and can't be distracted by misinformation that is being spread from word of mouth.
And then I told him that Obama only needs to win Ohio, and he asked why and I had to give him a refresher course on the electoral system--which he knew it, but is too distracted by the other bullshit that is confusing the issue.

(579 posts)I've had to give up because it is like they are comatose. They kept sending me Republican propaganda, most of it untrue and when you try to discuss it or debunk it they continue to repeat the lie, like they can't accept that it could not be true! And, even after telling them to quit sending the crap, they continued! Geez! talk about brain dead.
