For every one of these bizarro religio-crazy-folk in the GOP, there’s a science-believing fellow aligning himself with these people either because he hates and fears an image of black people he’s carried around in his head since childhood, or because he loves men, cannot face it, and it’s driving him crazy.
There’s also the cruelly logical, to whom the markers we’ve created to facilitate trade are more important than any human being or human need. They who writhe in ecstasy at the thought of hoarding so many trade markers that everyone else perishes from starvation. To them, that is base logic; anyone who does not focus exclusively on hoarding trade markers is a fool, a charlatan, a disposable being.
Althogether, they form the most dysfunctional political grouping seen on planet earth since the NSDAP, and with much of the same intent and visions for the future.
Let’s predict their fate should the billionaires currently poisoning the national dialogue win, shall we? The figurehead they elect, who truly owes none of them real allegiance, will turn on them, and will attempt to re-shape the political landscape to consolidate his own power, attacking and demoralizing all opposition, de-educating the population to the point of Mystic Faith, trying to write his bizarre internal twistings upon the world at large. The nation will fail, the figurehead will consume his supporters, many will die, and the world will become an immeasurably darker place for all his best efforts in subverting the simplest and most basic ideas of human progress.

The cult of Free Enterprise merging with the cult of God The Hateful, Murderous Father is a frightening thing. Killer God’s been around forever; we know the score there. Free Enterprise loves child slavery, torture, murder, rape — Free Enterprise, unregulated, is the blank canvas upon which the un-self-conscious write their darkest nightmares, bringing forth the Old Primate Way into the New World of the split atom and the artificial intelligence. We should probably re-think the whole system someday, I think, spoke the socialist hippie-type.
