This would be an Awesome independent-expenditure ad...

Reading about Dems saying that Mitt's new moderate-on-abortion stance cannot be trusted made me think of this.


A big PAC ad blitz showing all of Mitt's abortion waffles, back and forth over the years.

End with, "Mitt Romney cannot be trusted on an issue this important."

But the ad has no overt opinion on choice. Design it to function exactly the same whether the viewer is pro-choice or anti-choice.

Whichever side you are on, the viewer take-away would be that Mitt is against it.


(Ross Perot trail-blazed this approach with his most popular debate reply. When asked about the Clarence Thomas/Anita Hill hearing he said it was a disgrace that should never happen again. Well, everyone on all sides agreed with that! But he didn't say what the disgraceful part was.)
