I heard Chuck Todd say the democrats have an enthusiasm problem compared to the repubs.

If you are close by or in state - to vote early - and volunteer to take people to the polls that day. Your local Democratic Party can put you in touch with the right people. We need to get the elderly and people who are disabled/need Medicaid to the polls. Their well being depends on them being able to stand up for themselves.

In 2008 I volunteered for 10 and ended up driving 18. My last two were two elderly people - one whose son was a Republican and refused to take her to the polls, one a man whose first ride never showed up. My absolute second best memory of that election was that last haul. My second was the voice mail I still have from my dad, a kid who grew up in Jim Crow south - who never in his life thought someone like him could be the President.

Let's make sure those registrations translate into actual votes!

groups to actually go to the polling place and vote. This is a good thing.

have been pushing this claim that Republicans are going to have a landslide in Ohio based on absentee ballot requests being lower for Dems but higher for Republicans as compared to 2008. The numbers, though, still have the Democrats leading Republicans by 50,000 ballot requests.
