I just purchased 5 signs online. The confirmation email said that the signs would be shipped (not delivered, shipped) in 2 or 3 weeks.
Why so long? I'll probably get the signs after the election.
Has anyone ordered signs from the Obama Store and, if so, how long was it until you actually received them?

(51,122 posts)Those online stores are notoriously slow. The local party will have some.

(15,090 posts)Our local OFA office can't even seem to get them. I bought an unofficial sign from Cafe Press where they have a large selection at $25 a shot. It was stolen almost instantly, so not a good investment. Meanwhile, Romney's people seem to have dumped a truckload of signs on our town. It's discouraging.

(1,022 posts)ship in 7 to 10 days, and that the 2-3 week ship time in the confirmation email was a canned statement, due to t-shirt backorders. She told me that they have the signs, and that they would ship.
So I didn't cancel the order. I called the County Democratic Office. They currently don't have any signs, but have been told by the campaign they'd be getting them within the next few days. The woman I spoke to suggested I call back on Friday, and when they get however many signs the campaign delivers, they'll be on a first-come first-serve basis.
Both options look iffy, so I won't cancel the order, and see what happens...
