Is it time to call this week of self-flagellation over?

Is it time to let that dark cloud of gloom pass on over?

Can we now put it behind us? There is a time and place for everything and now is a time to heal.

Can we make it official?

Peace

It was reality check time for many of us but we will survive and prevail. Failure on our mission is not an option.

It's okay to feel panicky, I did for a day or two, but I certainly don't come here and spread it around. I wish people here (and Andrew Sullivan) would keep that in mind.
