Courage. That's what's needed to claim that not only has the stimulus worked

to break the back of the great recession, but that we are now moving toward a much stronger recovery and the ~4.5 (closer to 5) million jobs created plus the last jobs report is the evidence. There's much work to do, but the country will recover. If we falter, and we won't, we know what to do to fix it. This is akin to what FDR did in 1936 even though the end of the depression was in reality five years away. However, in the present, we really are close to a strong recovery. It's no coincidence that Romney is claiming he can create 12 million jobs in four years, when Moody's predicts this will happen anyway.

I want the Obama campaign to have the courage to take this road and force the Romney campaign to go into full negative mode about America. Then the Obama campaign can hit them over the head with their talking down the economy. It destroys the entire narrative of the Romney campaign.

I know there's risk in this, as many people are suspicious of the recovery, but I think it' the most likely road to victory. The improving jobs numbers are meaningless unless people buy that it means things are getting better.
