which I think means the negative space that surrounds reality. So, yes, doublespeak.

Yeah, the details of that escaped me, too, but the gist I got was that there's a way that the rich can game the system such that they could pay the same "share" yet still have the tax cuts. It was doublespeak.

Can anyone on DU explain this, please?

Romney is more dangerous because he never even drinks alcohol. He is a chameleon and will say anything convenient du jour. He is etch a sketch par excellence. He has honed smooth sales presentation skills over 25 years in business world.

Romney has 2 vulnerabilities. 1-Mormon religion 2-He is top 1%. Those are his Achilles heels. Attack attack attack only on those 2 issues and Obama wins.

My problem with it is if the rich are paying x % of the taxes now with y % of the income, keeping their share of the taxes the same while they get a higher and higher share of the income will mean the rest of us will have to pay more taxes with less income.

Of course R/R will claim they can't tell us how they'll do that until after the get elected.
