Romney Pro-Choice Again for Matter of Hours Today; Now Anti-Choice Again.

The formerly pro-choice Mitt Romney briefly went pro-choice again today when he told the editorial board of the Des Moines Register:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/09/mitt-romney-abortion_n_1952780.html

“There’s no legislation with regards to abortion that I’m familiar with that would become part of my agenda,” the Republican presidential nominee told The Des Moines Register in an interview
.

That, of course, comes after Romney's very publicly renouncing his earlier pro-choice position prior to deciding to run for president. It also conflicts with his prior statements that he would seek to appoint justices that would overturn Roe v. Wade.

In response to Mitt Romney's latest flip-flop, he flip-flopped right back with Katrina Trinko of the National Review tweeting the following:

Katrina Trinko@KatrinaTrinko
. @andreamsaul on Romney's abortion comment to DMR: Rom "wld of course support legislation aimed at providing greater protections for life"

Almost made it all the way through Tuesday. But it's tough when you're living a lie.

No need to wait for the debate however, the Obama campaign needs to attack this hard starting immediately.

quotes from Romney - and ask the voters if they want someone who's more consistent or someone who changes his mind every other day...

Throughout this campaign he has deliberately delivered very different messages to different audiences. Every time Rmoney has delivered a moderate message to a mainstream audience his campaign has quickly released another message to his conservative base reassuring them of his severely conservative core beliefs.

Two faced, yes - flip flopping, no. His tactics have more sinister motives.

He already said he wouldn't do it. This is just sleight of hand by Romney to get the votes, but we should point out to all Repubes we know that he is pro-choice and has been his whole life. He's still pro-choice but wants to get elected.

Not a direct contradiction. Both can be true. But definitely tailored for two different audiences. They give opposite impressions.
