Battle of the narratives OR It's the economy-- stupid again

And whoever is seen as better on the economy will win the election.

Obama has to go with the narrative that the economy is getting better thanks to the stimulus. He must do this or he will lose. It better be that he can see the light of dawn of morning in America, or there will be problems. He must state that the unemployment rate is moving in the right direction and that getting under 8% does not require Romney. It's taking a long time, because America was deeply wounded by the Great Recession caused by the Bush policies. He must tie Romney to Bush much better than he did last time. He has to talk of his vision of a better America.

Romney is basically trying to make this Reagan/Carter II and that the new "Carter" is the responsible for a bad economy. Romney has telegraphed this all along. You can bet your a&* that he will use are you better off in the next or last debate.

Whose narrative wins, wins the election. The battles are the debates. It's that simple.

Doesn't matter that Romney is killing Big Bird or is a big liar, unless Obama can completely discredit him, which I'm not sure is possible given the weak news media.
