Obama to address blatant lies, distortions, and mitt-flops in coming debates ~ Addicting Info

Everyone was calling the President’s performance in Wednesday’s debate lackluster. It turns out, even the president himself agrees. After some grumbling reported by staff, the next day presented a President who had shifted gears.

His staff reported finding the President studying his own debate performance, with him commenting on his dark, grim demeanor.

...

After a conference with his inner circle — David Axelrod, David Plouffe, Valerie Jarrett, Anita Dunn, Ron Klain and Jim Messina — a strategy was laid out before them: they would go after Romney’s blatant lies, his distortions, and his mitt-flops. Romney had put himself into a position where he revealed himself as a two-faced liar who would say anything to win, and the President will be using that image to his advantage.

The change in focus for the President only means storm clouds on the horizon for the revitalized Romney campaign. If the former Governor goes into the next debate assuming that he will find it as much a cakewalk as the first, he is likely to find himself in for a very severe shock.

Since everything about the debate was pre-planned 3-D chess genius carried out to perfection then there couldn't have been a meeting to discuss what went wrong, followed by a hasty re-tool.

So this is a false story put out by the campaign as a planned part of the overall 3-D chess plan.

Dammit Barack! I'm a Doctor, not a Pollster.

I wasn't all that concerned about the President's debate performance, given I don't consider lying a win. But, that's just me.

it makes the thugs think Romney has a shot - otherwise, they might give up on the presidency and put all the money on the senate! Now they will spend more on the presidency thereby giving the dems a shot at congress!

Tongue-in-cheek of course, but that would be potential 3-D chess move if there ever really was one - there isn't.

Now, that doesn't mean the strategy WORKED. But for example, not bringing up the 47% video was obviously something that was decided ahead of time.

It appears that Plouffe and Axelrod told him to not really debate, but rather just fade into the background and leave Romney largely unchallenged.

I am sure they had some reason for that, but their analysis was poor, and the execution of that bad strategy was also poor.

I think Obama did great. Sure he could have been more sharp about things. But he did great. Not to mention, I think people are always harder on themselves than anyone else can be. Even if the world thought I did great on something--I would find something wrong with it. I always do that. So I think everyone else--acts like pundits. But the low-information voter thought Obama did great actually if the polls mean anything. Which means, yeah Obama and all the "hysterical whiners" were in the wrong.

President: please be yourself. If Mitt lies, say so. e. g. "Governor is inconsistent on his position".. "Governor is erroneous on this... " Be fluid and don't worry to much about sticking to a script. Be ready for Romney's wildcat, trick play

So Romney's team sees this article about the plans by the Obama team for the next debate. They'll just prep Mitt-twit to counter it in some way with more convincing lies and his feigned outrage at being called a liar. He's so perfected at lying he could actually make Obama look pathetic for trying to pin all of those "falsehoods" on such a decent man  There really needs to be a roll eyes smiley here.
