If you love Michelle Obama, hold her in your thoughts this month.

The hate that is being directed toward her from the right, and the insults (racial and gender) must be met with an equal or greater amount of support and love from decent Americans.

May I suggest that you take a moment, and a postage stamp, and write her a paper letter this week? If you can't find words of support, then just send a "thinking of you" card.

I think it would mean a lot to be deluged with tangible love and support from all of us.

You know the address: 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Many blessing on you and your beautiful family.

Oct 2012

It's from a woman named Liz Barnhardt who posts at freerepublic. I'm not going to link there. Anyone wanting more of this filth can go find her with a little footwork.

I'm not psychic. I'm not a prophet. I don't hear voices. I simply am NOT STUPID, I have read history, and I have the stones to acknowledge obvious, objective reality. How anyone could NOT see all of this stuff coming is completely beyond me. You can see all of these things coming miles and miles away.

And by the way, this applies to my fears about Obama being assassinated. Seriously, how stupid and balless do you have to be in order to honestly argue and believe that COMMUNISTS are not capable of killing anyone? How stupid and balless do you have to be to convince yourself that COMMUNISTS, who murdered AT MINIMUM 250 million people in the 20th century alone, would be incapable of murdering a dim-witted, drug addicted homosexual puppet in order to completely overthrow and cement power over the largest economy and largest military force the world has ever seen? IF Obama is false-flag assassinated, there won't be any "chain of succession" issues. Joe Biden will never, ever be POTUS, no matter what. If Obama is false-flag assassinated the Constitution will be suspended, a "provisional government" will be announced and martial law declared.

I shouldn't be surprised by the abject and complete ignorance of history - even recent 20th century history, the normalcy bias and tunnel vision anymore, but I still am. I am worried that Obama will be taken out by his own people for exactly the same reason that I called this phoney-baloney unemployment crap months and months ago - because it is ALL SO INCREDIBLY PREDICTABLE, and the populace is too stupid and deluded to even see how predictable it all is.

.............

Now I hope you can understand why we need to express our love to this family.

Dear Mrs. Obama:

Ever since we were introduced to your family, I have been a huge fan. I’m so proud of the American people who elected your husband and we got you as a wonderful bonus as the First Lady. You are respected and loved by so many. I’m also aware of the fact that you all are targets of the great American hate machine. It seems that what you have taken on is far beyond the line of duty. Your grace under the ugliest fire imaginable in this democracy is an inspiration. If you can take and overcome such constant attacks from very powerful people, then myself and others down among the “47%” can take derision from Mr. Romney.

I worked hard in 2008 to get you there. I’m doing what I can (even though my paychecks have decreased markedly) to contribute to the re-election of the President. We are also facing horrible attacks on prevailing wage and public workers in our home town, so much of my time is spent on a cause that didn’t exist in 2008. I hope the advisers around you are aware of how thinly we are stretched trying to protect ourselves from the GOP of hate and division in our community.

I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate your willingness to serve the country and do it with such humor and grace. I suspect the humor is absolutely essential. It’s a wonderful trait and one that doesn’t get enough credit.

The very best of luck to you and your family. And to us all!

The general respect they have now makes it pretty obvious from where that hate was directed when it would hurt while in office. Add race and the Obamas have much more to contend with. The truly crazy right wing extremists take ever more advantage within the "free speech" security of this nation. Arguably they've tipped over the line into treason. Many of our congress people have already crossed that line if we were to be more honest.

It was disgusting then. But as I monitored freerepublic in those years, I didn't see the talk of violence against them that is rampant now against Obama.

I can't imagine what it is like for Michelle to live with that in the back of her mind day in and day out. She must feel under siege.
