Well, you spell out your strategy then Mittens. Are you going to tie the leaders to a tank until they agree with you?
You have absolutely no clue about that area. Even your remarks now can roil some people. Everything and everybody is interconnected. If you pull on one method, you have no idea what else will move.
If given half a chance, you would blunder around and piss off everybody. That might not be all bad because then there would be a common enemy.
Hope may not be a strategy, but it better be part of the process. If the parties have no hope, then you will never have peace.

So what you do is, you say, you move things along the best way you can. You hope for some degree of stability, but you recognize that this is going to remain an unsolved problem....and we kick the ball down the field and hope that ultimately, somehow, something will happen and resolve it.
