The debate effect was only prevalent in Friday samples in polling, after that, it seems numbers stabilized back to where they were before.

Rasmussen has been very favorable to Romney in Iowa, so this change really says a lot.

The should start to show in in polls taken this weekend and early this week. My sense is that the reports that came out Friday and Saturday re-elected President Obama. The majority of Americans are not stupid, they won't make a change when they begin to see light at the end of a dark tunnel. Mitt Romney wants the majority of voters to punish President Obama for conditions that were not of his making, but which Obama worked mightily to fix, that won't happen.

to NOT fix. Wingnuts aside, most people believe what they see with their own eyes, serious mistake to think people are that stupid.

Or is it just when the numbers are good for us?

I say that kinda tongue in cheek though... ALWAYS happy to see Obama in the positive!
