When the candidate THEY NOMINATED will not show his tax returns, with very few Republicans calling him out for it, and their veep shows that he pays a tax rate of 15%, they have lost ALL credibility considering the average wage earner pays a rate of 23% PLUS a payroll tax.

(10,291 posts)but the sociopathic overtake of this once great political party probably started in the 1980's, with seeds that were planted earlier. Then it spread in the 90's...overtook us in the 2000's and now, they need to be bushwhacked.

(13,588 posts)out of the water. You had to be a complete freakin' tool to have ever believed that in the first place. Now with Romney and Buffett before him showing below 15%, it's pretty certain the 1% gets it down below 20% if they try very hard at all.
Many of the 1% are in industries or have investments that allow them to take in more tax dollars than they pay out. I wish more was being said about that.
