NOT feeding the poor. NOT educating the illiterate. NOT giving medical care to the sick and injured. NOT helping indigent farmers get productive yields. Nope. None of that. Religion as a pyramid scheme ... peddling and proselytizing to expand the 'base' of 10% tithers. Baguettes and cheese for lunch. God forbid that latter day saints do anything "saintly."

As one who lives in the state called "home(base)" by the founder(s) of Amway (Dick & Betsy DeVos), a racket found to be illegal and which was outlawed in Canada, it's easy for me to imagine an unholy union of it with L. Ron Hubbard's brain fart spawning the LDS pyramid scheme (God's own RICO).
