OK, so Obama lost the debate. (Or maybe he didn't, really, or…)

The fact is, some cute anecdotes about low-information voters disliking Willard's aggressiveness aside, the short-term effects of the first debate will be minimal.

If the Obamites make hay out of the lies, there may be some good results from it in the long run.

If Obama finds a way to trap Willard in subsequent debates based on what he said in this one, that will also be good.

Overall, though, the debates in themselves aren't going to make or break either candidate.*

won. Mine and a few others point was that...Rmoney won, O had a bad night, BUT that doesn't mean that that will translate into anything else.

EXAMPLE: I think Rmoney won. But that does NOT mean I'm voting for Rmoney!
