A tax cut off-set by revenues is called A TAX CUT

A 20% across the board tax cut is a $5 Trillion tax cut over ten years.

Raising taxes by $5 Trillion over ten years is a $5 Trillion tax increase.

That the two even out in federal revenue is utterly un-fucking-relevant unless they are on exactly the same people.

If your taxes are cut by $5,000 and my taxes are increased by $5,000 that is not "no change."

It is a big fucking change for you and a big fucking change for me.

It is a $5,000 tax cut and a $5,000 tax increase.

This is not really challenging.

The mass confusion on this simple point is like the old joke that if you have one hand in boiling water and one hand in ice water you are comfortable on average.
