Are the tea drinkers suffering from cognitive dissonance

1.The denial of the poll numbers

2. The denial of the unemployment numbers

cognitive dissonance

There are three key strategies to reduce or minimize cognitive dissonance:

•Focus on more supportive beliefs that outweigh the dissonant belief or behavior.
•Reduce the importance of the conflicting belief.
•Change the conflicting belief so that it is consistent with other beliefs or behaviors.

They are teabaggers... but if you honestly think they drink that tea, I got news for you. ... We "latte-sipping" liberals are drinking our share of tea and probably much more than they.

They don't drink tea. They act like they drink pure, grain alcohol. And lots of it.

And they cannot be reached. Don't even worry about it.

I'm someone who enjoys my tea now and then.

I'm a tea DRINKER, not a tea bagger.
