(2,220 posts)Hes nine, and a traumatized rescue. Having my husband working from home and then retiring has made it possible for us all to go walks together and, for the first time in his life, he is not afraid to go on LONG walks in scary new places. Even if he cant go to daycare anymore, 2020 has been the best year of his life.
Im so sorry for the loss of your dog. Its the hardest part of having one. I still mourn my border collie who was with me almost fourteen years and died almost ten years ago. He was my soulmate and spiritual guide.

Skeeter, Pete, Casey, Gretchen, Logan, Rowdy, Ditto, Suzie and Molly. Suzie was the biggest sweet heart, so small when I saw her at the pound, curled up in her food dish. nap times were special with Suzie.

(28,127 posts)This brought tears here.
We lost a preciously sweet big Lab (her heart was gold, so empathetic) just 3 wks ago & our hearts are still aching, tears still flowing.
So, sending compassionate hugs to you, knowing how you feel.
