Stay safe, dear Sheltie. I am currently home recuperating from covid, having finally caught it from a patient after successfully dodging it for 10 months. I at least spent a few moments of my convalescence calling Gov. Lee's office and blaming my illness, as well as the illness and deaths of thousands of other Tennesseans, on his and Trump's negligence, lack of leadership, and denial of science. I didn't hold back. I also condemned his failure to acknowledge the outcome of the presidential election, and scoffed at his self-identification as "pro-life" when he is willing to stand back and watch thousands of people die unnecessarily from covid.

I hope you are ok!
Gov Lee's wife is covid +, "with mild symptoms." So the news says. Another female with zero self-respect, else she would not be married to this pos repuke hypocrite!
Limiting indoor gatherings to 10 people is his answer to covid. How about ZERO outside one's immediate household!
It sounds as if you are a medical professional. I thank you on behalf of your patients for caring for them.
I wonder if you will be allowed a vaccine since you have contracted the rRump virus?
Be well, my friend. Healing vibes on the way to you! 💓💓💓

(14,920 posts)steadily and without any setbacks or worrisome complications. Both the patient and I were wearing masks, which I believe limited the "dose" of virus I took in and gave my immune system time and space to mount a defense without being completely overwhelmed.
I should be able to receive the vaccine along with all the other healthcare providers at my level of priority, and hopefully that will be soon. It is safe and recommended for recovered covid patients to be vaccinated.
Thanks again for the kind thoughts and healing vibes! I feel better already!
