I contributed to Obama's campaign as soon as the debate was over! Did you?

Obama was off his game last night. Bad night. As he himself said in the debate last night, he's not perfect.

It was ONE night, ONE debate. No one wins 'em all.

So as soon as the painful experience was over, I clicked on the "quick donate" button and contributed to Obama's campaign, to show my support, that I have his back!

For Ikonoklast and other posters who "suggested" I and others were trolls for even suggesting (as Michael Moore, Andrew Sullivan, Ed Schulz, Joe Klein, and others did) that Romney had a good night.....I ask you...did YOU contribute to Obama's campaign last night? (That was my third contribution....and I will make more. I just wish the amounts could be larger. So much is at stake.)

He needs money now more than ever. Even a small amount is helpful. It does add up.

Even though I swore I was done donating for the year.

I guess I'll have to give up a nice night out for dinner with the S.O. to make up for the lost revenue

it's a matter of principle, and a professional shtick. Hell, I am even considering removing my support of those defenders of the First Amendment, but in that case I can almost justify it, even if they are seen as left fringe fanatics, by the RW, until they are well defending the RW right to free speech.

(Civil Liberties Union in case you wonder)

My money is going to a local congressional race one district over. The CA 7 seat is flippable. We need to toss Dan Lungren.

Seven in California alone.

Ami Bera (CA-07)
Jose Hernandez (CA-10)
Julia Brownley (CA-26)
Raul Ruiz (CA-36)
Mark Takano (CA-41)
Alan Lowenthal (CA-47)
Scott Peters (CA-52)

Does your matter of principle, and professional shtick prevent you from volunteering? I have it on good authority Scott Peters would would welcome your help phone-banking, canvassing, and just getting the message out.

this only tells me that the house IS DEFINITELY IN PLAY.

And yes, I live in the district, and I cover the races, from dog catcher (Ok Cali does not have dog catcher), all the way up. So no, I cannot do that. IN fact, I am registered independent. My vehicle has zero bumper stickers that have anything to do with politics.

As to Peters, downside of doing this, he will do less damage than bilbray, but not quite a clean pol... want me to bend your ear with all the shenanigans with the Pension? Yup, he had a large role in that mess.

Google red to blue or use this handy link:

http://www.dccc.org/pages/redtoblue

I can't find it, but there is a fine ranking of individual races based on recent polls. You know, probable blue, toss-up, strong blue, etc.
My man, Ami Bera is looking real good, but nasty dollars are being spent attacking him.

Don't know how much I can afford, but I can do something. We need as many Democrats as possible in all offices, for the government to work again.

I didn't contribute to Obama's campaign after the debate last night because I put a check for OFA in the mail after lunch yesterday. Had to get all my bills paid, etc. so I could settle in for the debate. I used to think I couldn't dislike any politician more than Richard Nixon. After watching him last night, Rmoney's getting close.

But five minutes ago I sent $100 to Elizabeth Warren and $100 to Rob Zerban because I think it's a better use of my money.
