Regarding first debate: I've got the President's back
Not just me. Millions of us. The President has had my back for four years. He did not lie last night, at the first presidential debate. He told the truth about his own policies. Things that are not easy to solve with a republican house of representatives.
It's my responsibility to let other folks know that his opponent promised stuff that is contrary to what he actually intends to do, as he has described for the past eighteen months. That's the least I can do. I've noticed many on facebook, twitter, here at DU, and in phone conversations with family and friends, also have the President's back.
Good policy is good policy. Lies are not policy. Lies don't make up for bad policy that favors the ultra rich while hurting the working class, middle class, poor working people, and average people like me. I'm fed up with Romney's lies. I will point them out to anyone who cares to listen.
