. . . to the point where it's not guaranteed that the traditional and expected impacts from events are observed and channeled through these biased media sources who are falling all over themselves to criticize Pres. Obama today on the style of his debate performance; rather than the substance of his remarks.
There just wasn't as much of a proliferation of phone media, for example, and twitter wasn't as mainstreamed into the media gathering community in 2008, as it is today. In this free-flowing information environment, the TRUTH has a way of insisting itself to the top of the heap. I think we've seen remarkable proof of that in this election as facts have been subjected to a much wider scope of scrutiny than just passing through the filter of the major cable and other network coverage.
I wouldn't sell the American public short on discerning the actual truth behind these candidates' statements and feeling confident to make their own independent judgments based on the wide variety of interpretive sources available.
I think it's happening right now, at a noticeable level among the folks I work with, for instance. I've been amazed, more than a few times to find folks I normally wouldn't think had an inside scoop, relating one to me on the fly. Bottom line? Get in there and relate on as many social networks as are available and work to provide the balance voters need to make the right decisions. WE are in control of that process of information -- maybe, in time, as much or more so than the gaggle of professionals who presume to dominate our opinion-making and drive the debate.

Those racists don't matter to the election
Just a little puny subsection of America.
republicantealibertarians amd racists back Mitt. What a surprise. I bet 100% of the John Birch society backs Mittens and Ryan.
Good people back Obama. What a surprise. Why would I want any member of the John Birch society in the same club (Presidential winners) as me.
George Romney is probably rolling over in his grave at the audacity of his son. I bet George Romney thought he brought up his son better.
