"Before we begin, let me remind everyone what happened last time. Mitt came out and said a bunch of stuff, and then right after the debate, his campaign immediately started "clarifying", "walking back" and admitting that a lot of it was just not true.
My question for Mitt tonight is, are you planning on doing that again? The first thing that comes out of your mouth, will you mean it? Will you mean it after the debate? What about the second thing that comes out of your mouth? What about anything that comes out of your mouth? Will you mean any of it?"

(879 posts)that might seem to some undecided voters that Rmoney got under President Obama's skin last night. He just needs to keep all those lies close at hand so when Rmoney spews something different at the next debate, the President can remind him what he said last night.

(3,491 posts)I like the idea of Obama taking that track. Rmoney has to be shown as the liar, panderer, and flip flopper that he is.

(21,786 posts)saving "47%" and so on for the second debate would be tactically and strategically sound, because Romney doesn't do well in the town hall format when he has to talk to actual voters, and he's very likely to end up looking bad when and if it comes up.
