The difference between listening and watching

I was stuck on the New Jersey Turnpike for hours yesterday sitting on a bus, the reason I'm still not sure. I missed my train to CT so I had another 2 hour wait along with the 2 hr train ride....I missed the first 20 minutes of the debate. Hopped in my car and listened for 20 min. Listening is a totally different experience than watching. I heard every hmmm, agh, every little sound that wasn't a word and it seemed like the president made a lot of them. Then I got home switched on the tv and my impression totally switched. The president looked great, as always and Romney had that stupid grin on his face.

Words are just words and Romney says any words he thinks will get him votes. Our President has great control and moderation. He can wait, he is patient, he has a plan, he knows how to work the plan, he doesn't jump at the bait. Our President is stealth.

I have faith in the President. He is very smart and knows how to play this game.

In 1960 after the debates, people listening on the radio said Nixon won and those watching TV said Kennedy won.
