with both candidates side by side, full frontal view of both. In a word... The president was SPECTACULAR!

The president was calm, forceful, intense, focused, and completely in control.

Romney was frantic, wild, fake, wordy, patronizing not to mention inaccurate.

It's the setting of the venue the first time around with the distant, side split screen thing that really hurt the accuracy of the candidates demeanour.

The President was calm and knowledgable. Willard was a manic liar.

But it will be nice to see it again from a more advantageous angle.

Thanks!

However, I watched it with my county's Democrats who wanted to have a debate party. Many of the men actually did think Romney won.

They didn't use split screen on the networks? I thought the side by side comparison was very telling. Obama looked quietly amused much of the time while Romney looked fidgety.

My wife and I watched it on C-SPAN and we both thought Obama won it handily then I switched to MSNBC and saw all the doom and gloom there and we were like WTF??

It's what the MSM said last night and will say this morning, what the talking heads will be saying in the coming days. And I think it can be forecast that they'll pretty uniformly declare this a big win for Mittwit.

The commercials will be brutal when video of Willard lying his ass off at the debate is played against video from the days/weeks before of him saying the exact opposite on the campaign trail.

But more importantly:

Ohio loathes Willard because he wanted to let the auto industry go bankrupt.

Seniors loathe him because he wants to destroy Medicare and SS.

Those whose lives were destroyed by Bain loathe him.

Little kids and their parents/grandparents will loathe him for wanting to kill Big Bird.

And, most of all, a large part of the 47% loathe him for dismissing them as important.

Willard isn't going to become a contender because he bullied his way through a debate and the MSM played into that.

Last night's debate was expected by some to end up with Rmoney as a shmear of fail, exposing his lack of intellect or foresight. High, high expectations in the Democratic camp.

And Obama had zero clue what Rmoney's debate style would take, given Rmoney's poor numbers and his frantic desire to change his many pairs of flip flops again to get the 47% he insulted last week to trust him.

What we saw last night was the vengeance with which Rmoney will fling himself at any CONCEPT which stands in his way Of Winning.

He does not play by the rules.

He bullies senior citizens.

Worst of all, he just plain LIES and smirks about it and doesn't even care if you know, as long as he thinks he fooled a few:

*He doesn't care about those on Food Stamps; they are takers.

**Suddenly he cares. Americans are suffering and he cares. ( But he'll still bitch about food stamps )

*He'll mandate no access to affordable insurance for those with pre-existing conditions.

** Suddenly, his plan WON'T dump those with pre-existing conditions.

*He wants more tax cuts for the rich to stimulate the economy, no end to oil subsidies and a total end to regulation - including taxing

corporations that take jobs overseas.

**Suddenly he thinks he wants to help the middle class AND the rich, oil subsidies aren't a good idea and there's no such thing as a tax

break for taking a job out of the US cuz he sez so!

Just a few complete reversals on key components of his domestic job-creating "policy" he force fed us all last night.

Rmoney sounded to me like a breathless, whiny, lying, manipulative toddler and Obama sounded like the ( understandably ) frustrated, disgusted grownup in the room.
