I think it was Tag who told the story about the dog on the roof and also about Mittens going first at dinner time before the grand kids, etc. I don't think he's a fan of his Dad's.

Kind of an "oh, those nutty kids" thing. But coming from Romney, it just sounded like he was calling his (grown) children liars. Very cold.

As you said, it's like the way he "joked" (at least I hope he was trying to joke) that they were keeping Ann from too many public appearances so people wouldn't get tired of her. What a horrible father and husband. Ick ick ick.

I've been saying that all night. I can't believe more people aren't talking about that. He said "I have five boys so I have a lot of experience being lied to..." or something very close to that. I was like "WTF?" So his sons are liars, too. Damn Mitt, maybe the dog was lucky. Put him on the roof but throw the boys under the tires.

Romney's such an asshole. I would be so hurt if my father ever said something like that about me.
