I'm thinking a whole lot of people who thought Romney won were probably Democrats. That would mean the poll doesn't really matter in terms of the election. All of the Republicans would line up lock step for Romney, so that's probaby 45% of of CNN's 67% who gave the debate win to Romney. A lot of Dems seem to think Obama lost because he didn't lambaste the sweaty, teary-eyed liar at the other podium with a tirade of righteous truth. Their opinion about who won or lost the debate only concerns the debate, because their votes are not going to change.
How many people who are firmly on Obama's side in the election thought he lost the debate? I think probably a lot. And how many people who thought Obama lost thought so because he didn't call Romney on his lies? Did Romney "win" the argument in a lot of peoples' opinions because they believe he got away with lies? Is that a win?

And no, I didn't think Obama lost the debate despite the hissyfits thrown by the little crying babies at MSNBC.
