Michelle Malkin, commenting on Republican primary candidates accusing Romney of using Bain Capital to buy out companies and lay off workers, compared them (specifically Huntsman, Gingrich, and Perry) to Occupiers! Seriously, and the quote in the OP title was highlighted red...they must be closet commies!
Standing up for Wall Street, Malkin howls: "With his incessant bashing of how the private equity industry works in the real world, Newt (along with Rick Perry) is morphing into an Occupy Wall Street zealot. Or a David Axelrod...(quoting this ABCNews.com blog reporting on Rick Perry's ad that alleged Romney 'made millions buying companies and laying off workers.')" She follows: "...the Occupy rhetoric seeps into attack ads by Republicans that will send tingles down the legs of anti-capitalists everywhere from Gingrichs new favorite newspaper, the New York Times, on down." I found this post because I was looking for Malkin's view on Ron Paul (blog tag here). In 2007 she dismissed Paul because he spoke to Truther groups. In the 2008 primary she noted an instance of aggressive Paul supporters. It appears Malkin doesn't really like Paul, and the blog I focused on didn't mention Paul except in tagging.

(4,323 posts)... may successfully paint Romney as the true conservative.
Seriously though, this is a tension point within the Republican Party. They have pretty much absorbed the so-called Reagan Democrats but that constituency isn't as enamored with the excesses of the Market as the money Republicans.
This was an interesting move to make on the part of Gingrich and Perry. Surprising, too. I would expect it more from Santorum.
