Morning Joe today. He came close to saying that their was a deliberate plot to "get" Obama embroiled in a ME conflict (game changer of the election?)...at least that's what I "thought" he was driving at. I think Mika and Joe were a bit stunned. Nobody asked him further about it, so I guess we'll never know what exactly Dr. Zbig was trying to say...but that was my take...

I've never heard him talk that way before...he is usually very pointedly factual. Not saying he might not be right, it was just strange hearing it from him...

would seem to me, if he had some concrete info. But at least he was asking questions about the odd confluence of sources for the video and other voices and where did the money come from to actually DO the video.

I'm with you suspecting the neo-cons...I certainly wouldn't put it past them, esp after the evidence came thru just the other day on the strange bulge on Bush's back during one of the debates with Kerry...

I did not hear him say the conspiracy was to get Obama embroiled in a ME conflict. I heard him say that no one knows WHO funded the video, that there's this vague guy who did the tape, and some cohorts, and unsightly group. But someone must have funded it. Who? It was obvious that doing this tape would result in riots and violence, so who would have funded it?

I think you're jumping to the conclusion that YOU thought he meant the riots and violence were for the purpose of getting O involved in a conflict. But I didn't take it that way. He COULD have meant it that way, but that's not what I took from what he said.

I thought he really was wondering aloud, and giving people food for thought, to think about who would have wanted the riots and violence. He was also saying that no one knows the answer to that question.
