Sotomayor was confirmed in the Senate August 2009, but Brown wasn't sworn in until February 2010,
So, Brown wasn't in the Senate during Sotomayor's confirmation hearing or for the full senate vote.

But it seems like he should have at least been watching on TV like the rest of us.
