10. I remember when Santorum lost

And not to pick on his kids but I remember it because of how his kids were dressed. The son on stage with him looked like he was auditioning as an extra in Harry Potter. The older sister looked like she had stepped out of a nightclub in the 80s, and the younger sister looked like she had just come back from filming a, "Little House on the Prairie," reunion show. The little one was bawling her eyes out so I think CNN gave him a job out of sympathy, and now they're too polite to tell him it was for only one season, and now they're stuck with him.
