70 yr. old Ohio Republican Voter: "I’ve Never Seen Such HATE as This Year in the Republican Party"

“Obama was handed an economy on the skids, after eight years of Bush,” Butterfass said in an email. “All he ever did was think about war. I’m afraid Romney will do the same, especially the trickle-down theory.

“I don’t know why any woman or gay would ever vote for Romney. All you have to do is look at the Republican platform. I’ve never seen such HATE this year in the Republican Party, national or state.”

They were just about as hateful toward Bill Clinton and his family, too. The only difference now is the overt racism. The hate has been around for a while. The only reason we're seeing it more now is that they know they'll soon be a minority party due to changing demographics, and they're desperately trying to put their agenda into law before it's all over.

Even with Nixon, people somehow managed to respect the office even if they did not respect the man.

Sadly, most people can't even do that anymore, which puts the lie to their claims that they're good, patriotic citizens.

I don't think I'll ever forget my shock when that jerk from South Carolina yelled out "Liar!" during the SOTU. Never, ever thought I'd see the day but this seems to be business as usual in political "discourse" anymore.

They impeached him over a private sex act. I'd say that is about on par with some asshole congressman calling the President a liar during the SOTU. And, I don't know of the FBI groping through any other First Lady's underwear drawer looking for non-existent documents that were supposed to prove she was some sort of criminal, as they did with Hillary. What we are seeing now is just a continuation of that disrespect. And, as I said, the only difference is that overt racism has been added to it.

They accused Clinton of being a drug dealer and killing vince foster.

They investigated him though the House of Representatives over two dozen times, the LITERALLY had an investigation into the fan mail for their pet cat and christmas cards. They said VERY mean and hateful things about their beautiful daughter, and slandered Hillary like no other person to preemptively attack her presidential aspirations.

They brought up articles of impeachment on him after their special prosecuter fished around for years looking for ANYTHING to take him down with before stumbling onto the Blue Dress.

This is not to say in any way that they are not beyond any reason in their deranged hatred for Barrack Obama, but it is the same as it was for Clinton in a different way.

If they accused Barrack Obama of being a drug dealer or killing someone, people would be screaming about how it was racism.

But, more than anything, it is because he is a democrat.

Does not matter who it is, they hate Ds.

Watch them reflexively gag and laugh simply by saying Nancy Pelosi.

No real reason, we have seen the worst of the worst in their House Speakers over the last 15 years, with Tom Delay being one of the worst ever, but they just out of hand dismiss Nancy Pelosi as being horrible.

His power arose in the 1992 election, and since then, he has preached hatred and ignorance that has been fed off of by so many who welcome not having to think for themselves.

He led to Fox. He was the "majority maker." He visited the Dominican Republic for unspeakable reasons, and is on his fourth wife - who, like the three before her, will walk away with millions to keep silent.

He is ignorant, hateful, and one of the most damaging people who has ever been born, and I welcome his demise. He's the only one I say that about. Just Rush.

I still stand by that idea. They for the most part are racists. This IMO is why they come up with the ridiculous accusations like Obama is a Muslim or born in Kenya or he's a socialist and the like. They might as well say he is from another planet. Their accusations are stupid. What makes sense to me as to why all the stupid crap is that they are hiding the fact that they are racists. Now Mitwit is planting some from the 47% in the crowds, trying to hide that he is also a racist.

25. When I was out on a run yesterday morning, I saw a sign that said:
Mon Oct 1, 2012, 11:46 AM
Oct 2012

"Prosecute Hussein Obama for High Treason!!!!" This was right next to a Richard Mourdock sign (Mourdock, for those who don't know, is the Teabagger candidate for Senate in Indiana, whom Dick Lugar lost to in the primary). That the two were together does not surprise me, but I was so angry when I saw it that it took all I had not to kick it over. I really had to make an effort to shrug it off so that it didn't interfere with my run.

People have NO idea what they're talking about when they throw around words like "treason." THAT's what scares me when it comes to this new crop of GOPers. If they win, they will have the ability to reshape, reinterpret, and re-form laws and the Constitution to fit their twisted notions of "right" and "wrong".

All that said, I had to note that the signs were posted in a common area in the back of a subdivision. That also says something: If you truly feel that way, that's your right. But... have the balls to put the sign in your FRONT yard, so your friends, neighbors, and passers-by know how **you** really think. And, by the way, riddle me this: Exactly what "treason" has Obama committed? Being born African-American?

I'm surrounded by a bunch of anti-gay, racist pricks here, but none of them want to own their hate.

as opposed to the man running for President who routinely bets against the country and sends all his money overseas? If he wants to be President of this country, he should have a majority of his money here at the very least, or else how can anyone know what his true interests actually are? He'd be in a position where he can give countries like the Cayman Islands favorable economic policies that directly benefit his foreign holdings and cause harm to the American people. Do people really think it's OK for a man to put on this big "patriot" act and he has so much money tied up in overseas holdings?
