Of course we also need to credit Gov Jerry Brown for his courage to sign the bill. They are the first in the nation to ban this horribly abusive, so called, treatment.

It gives me hope to remind myself of that.

I have LONG been an admirer of Governor Brown. And this last time, he was out-spent by a landslide by Mega-Bucks meg "Ebay" whitman. And he still won. Sometimes the good guys still do.

As this moves across the country, everybody will be debating it and in the process will be educated about how harmful this sort of treatment is.
