I believe Harry has more real dirt on Mitt's taxes. If Obama kicks ass in the debates he may not need to release more info.
If not, will Harry drop a bomb?

(56 posts)Regardless of how the debates go. Damage to Mitt hurts downticket races.
If Harry has real info, he needs to release it. He needs to prove he has the spine to be Senate Majority Leader or resign the position.

(2,900 posts)than I imagine it to be on the outside. Reid has to hold together a coalition of egos approaching the zenith of Joe Lieberman's. Obama has much the same to do. I've been very frustrated with Obama, except on judicial appointments. But it is exactly those judicial appointments that have real long term effect. Ginsberg is likely to retire. Maybe Scalia will too. Maybe Thomas. Getting two more Kagan and Sotomayor appointments would be world changing.

Do you think the GOP is lacking in egos? They have every bit as much ego as the dems. But even when reid has the upper hand he doesn't know how to play it.

(16,113 posts)the story is that Romney is the victim of Democratic dirty tricks, not what's in his tax returns.

(50,368 posts)in the hidden tax returns and what possible reasons Romney won't release them. The majority of Americans polled want Romney to release them. Harry doesn't need to do anything else, imo. The ball is in Romney's court and he has failed spectacularly in that regard.
