Deb Fischer (R-NE for US Senate) 3 sons' legal troubles: at least one DUI apiece

http://www.omaha.com/article/20120930/NEWS/709309924/1685#

By Matthew Hansen

Deb Fischer's three sons all have been convicted at least once of drunken driving, and one has three DUI convictions.

Adam, Morgan and Luke Fischer live together on Sunny Slope Ranch in Cherry County and now run most of its day-to-day operations. All their DUI convictions occurred in Cherry County.

“No comment,” U.S. Senate candidate Deb Fischer said when asked about her sons' legal troubles. “Our sons are private citizens. They aren't running for any public office.”

Her middle son has gotten into the most trouble.

A lot of parents raise great families, but have one kid go wild (permanently or temporarily).

But I've always thought multiple wild kids = bad parenting

I never really condemned Bush junior when his one daughter got a little wild in college - I just thanked fate that there weren't cell phones or super-portable cameras when I was in college. Gore's son had some issues - a lot of kids get in trouble when they get that first taste of freedom.

But when Eagles coach Andy Reid has TWO sons go completely off the map, then that kind of says that something is going wrong in that family.

Does Deb have a drinking problem too? Not snark just asking. You know the apple and the tree thing.

Her story reminds me of that lady that killed those people on a hiway in New Jersey. There's a documentary about it called "Something's wrong with Aunt Diane". She was an over-achiever and closet drinker.
