Forget Mitt Romney. I don't think I could take four years of Ann Romney.

I know she probably means well and thinks she's helping in that rarified atmosphere in which she's lived her entire life, but MY GOD does she know how she sounds to "us people"? Poor students living off their stock portfolio, had to eat tuna casserole and pasta; Mitt's mental health; her horse having more class than the Democratic party; STOP IT, THIS IS HARD!; how lucky we are to have Mitt as a candidate; how Mitt scans the audience for her face to see the approval registered there (ugh); that she loves the fact that women with children have to go out and work for a living; etc., etc., etc.

Does Lady Ann actually believe we should all fall in line and strew rose petals up the White House steps for our rightful superior, her husband, anointed by God to be our President?

Ugh!

I know most people say "Don't go there.", "She has MS.", "She isn't the candidate."

But, I totally agree! She is an elite and can't hide it. If she would quit trying to act like common people and quit telling stories which is suppose to make her and Mitt sound like regular folk I may like her more.

As to the MS, my sister has MS and it IS a horrible disease! But, my sister is doing ok only because she has health insurance, something which Mitt feels everyone doesn't deserve. Ann has had the very best care money can buy, there has never been any treatment which she and her family had to make the decision to give up something to be able to afford. My sister, even with insurance, still has to live a frugal life to afford the co-pays and is endanger of hitting a life time cap without the ACA.

If Ann would have from the beginning admitted her and Mitt's hardest financial struggle would be "living life on the hog" for most people, that she knows she that she and Mitt were extremely lucky for her to be able to raise her children without her having to work and had the luxury of having domestic help to do most of the work, and that her biggest struggle in life has been the MS which she knows she has had the absolute best care possible, something which many American's could not afford I could accept her much more, I might even respect and like her.

She's fair game. No free passes, though she probably thinks she deserves one.

is insufferable. I definitely see a superiority complex in that woman. I recall her stating how she had soooo much trouble raising her children and how much woooork it is and how similar she is to normal Americans. If I could start over again as the blond wife of a multi-billionaire stuck with some kids, I'd go for it, even though I'm a GUY.

Something about that lady bugs me. She's so snobby. Even Laura and Barbara weren't like that.

All I can think of is that bug-eyed picture of her. And the idea that she wore drapes.
