Warren Leads in Massachusetts
A new Boston Globe poll in Massachusetts finds Elizabeth Warren (D) leading Sen. Scott Brown (R) in the U.S. Senate race, 43% to 38%, with another 18% still undecided.
This survey is the sixth of eight public polls taken this month that show Warren ahead.
Said pollster Andrew Smith: "It's trending away from Brown. Brown right now is not doing well enough among Democrats to offset the advantage that Warren has. That's just such a big obstacle to overcome for any Republican candidate in Massachusetts."

(6,996 posts)The whole "just look at her" stupidity along with the chanting has shown Brown to be a clown. Warren is the serious candidate to serve Massachusetts in the Senate.

(10,115 posts)in troubling low territory with 43%, but Brown under 40% is very low for a sitting Senator. Still, a long way to go for those independant votes.

(10,942 posts)A lot of the undecided are likely in Central Massachusetts, which is an enormously heavily populated region of the state that leans moderate. Warren has an opportunity to close the deal with them, the fact they are undecided is bad news for Scott Brown. Brown won that region last time by a considerable amount, mostly because Martha Coakley, his opponent did her best to play dead.

I lived in central Mass at the time. I can only add that Coakley gave an Oscar-worthy performance of dead!

(10,942 posts)They want to go away from Brown but aren't convinced on Warren yet. Warren has to work to at least split that 18%.

But they *love* all other minorities and furriners, if only so they can show how rational, loving and open-minded they are.
They also have very, very long memories. Once your reputation is gone, it is gone for good.
So Brown's blatant racism was a really, really, really a bad move on the part of his campaign and will not sit well.
