Uh oh. They're Telling Mitt To Get Tougher.

Everybody asking him if he can get tough with Obama.

Train wreck coming soon.

Pressure to not be a wimp in the presence of Obama.

Put the boy in his place, so to speak.

A perfect storm.

Unlikable candidate with unlikable policies and who talks down to the public attacks well-liked, mainstream president.

How could it be more perfect?

Be prepared to see media saturation ads of Romney shooting out these "off the cuff zingers."

"there you go again......."

will that be one of the zingers?

If only there were hackers who knew how to hack into his program.
Or.. hmmm.. the wiring is just under his skin.
Just need to get there somehow under his skin and he'll misfire.

I predict at least one zinger will come at a completely wrong
moment and will therefore make no sense.

I wouldn't be surprised if Romney brings it up. There's a faction within the GOP that seems to think flogging Rev. Wright again and again will bring Romney victory.

He won't try it. Mitt has to keep playing the new "lie-hedge" that Rachel Maddow so excellently observed him doing. For big audiences, Mitt has to say what they want to hear. Then his people quietly take it all back with reporters. Mitt can't be Mr. Republican Tough Guy for large audiences. The idiots on the Tea Party Republican side (bless them) want that, but it would be suicide.

Mitt knows that if he tries to be like the Tea Partiers, he will sink to the bottom of the ocean (and then another ten feet into the silt). And even after Romney did what the Tea Party wanted and sank, the Tea Party would just say he sank because he didn't sell their crazy ideas well.

already don't like him. And he WILL NOT get a rise out of Obama, who is the coolest guy on earth. He is going to look desperate and angry and ultimately his effort to look strong will just make him look weak.

And the pundits can spin that one all they want. People have a visceral reaction to things like that and no amount of talking head spin will change what they feel in their gut.
