Such a perfect metaphor, talking about the conservative bubble, and how the RWers mistakenly believe the public at large agrees with their extreme ideas. How they thought Paul Ryan was a good pick. Oops.

was really just propaganda for the low-info, angry-white-male, riff-raff, base. Now it is apparent that the GOP leadership actually believes their own BS and doesn't understand why everyone doesn't smoke it.

If anyone thought these characters were a bad idea, George Lucas wasn't listening.

The republican party is in a similar state, but it's not a movie. Electing republicans will have dire consequence.
