Run it like how George W. Bush ran it, the last businessman President?
Run it like one of those businesses that sends all it's jobs overseas?
Run it like one of those businesses that puts all it's money in a Swiss bank account or in the Cayman Islands?
Run it like Enron?
Run it like the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory?
Run it like the Krusty Krab?
Run it like a business that runs into the ground, gives all the people at the top millions of dollars, but tells the rank-and-file 'tough luck and you're trespassing'?

(13,186 posts)The average working and middle class Republican thinks it means that Republicans will cut out waste and deadwood, bring efficiency.
To the Republicans who actually control the party (corporate CEOs, inherited wealth holders like the Kochs, the Chamber of Commerce, etc.), it means that America will be run "for" business, not "like" it. Jobs need to go overseas to reduce costs for business? Fine. Detroit needs to go bankrupt? You bet. Their bank accounts and the money god say so.

Mr. Krabs is always the butt of "cheap" jokes, and we've all heard through the personal narratives how cheap Mitt is even as he has more money than he could ever need. I never understood how people think being a businessman qualifies him to be president, as a business and a government are two completely unrelated entities. That's like saying a coach of a basketball team could make a good coach for a football team just because he's a good leader.
