Awww, poor little Republicans. They think it's bad enough that the poll results are "skewed" by the "liberal" pollsters and media, but there's the added injustice of pollsters daring to ask voters what they think of something Romney said.
Call the wahmbulance...

(50,402 posts)They really do live in an alternate universe, don't they. Their pitiful candidate said it, believes it and it is a key question to ask and they KNOW it hence all the caterwauling.
I love it!

(802 posts)...the Romney campaign and their donor base failed to absorb the message of the book and movie 'The Help'. I mean it very well could be that the thing that assured the '12 election for Obama was the recording at the $50,000 a plate event at the home of yet another big-bucks bastard where Romney 'skinned his prejudice' in calling 47% of the US as, essentially, deadbeats. The message I refer to is that 'the help' is actually in the room...they've got eyes, ears and feelings...only now they've got iPhones too. Gives a whole new meaning to the concept of 'service'...in this case it's 'serves the bastards right'.

(9,841 posts)Back during the Republican primaries, the candidates couldn't talk about this enough, that almost half the public didn't pay income taxes. All Mitt did was give voice to their unspoken thoughts, that the 47% thought of themselves as "victims" and that the GOP didn't care about "those people."

(147 posts)about some perceived democratic advantage as slight as the way a question is posed in a poll, and yet, still no whining about the diebold voting machines....hmm
I guess maybe they know something

(51,579 posts)I mean, to ask someone their opinion about something the candidate actually said? Really? As opposed to asking voters, oh I don't know, their opinion on others' statements that the candidate's military service was dishonorable? Unfuckenbelievable. I smell Rove.

(582 posts)Is that on yahoo the Republicans have been attacking using the 47% half truth for six months. Their leader Mitt get caught saying what they are saying, and all of a sudden it is unfair? If I was really a zombie, I'd be laughing so hard bits of me would be flying everywhere.
