Here are his two back to back posts on my wall:

Rightie: I'm sure Bush didn't lie to the American public about an illicit affair either but that's just how liberals roll...

Me: Rightie, stop crotch sniffing. It was gross back then (or don't you remember your party saying it was embarrassing they did that) and it's still gross now. If YOU can't see the ABJECT PHOTO SHOPPING, meaning this isn't even a GOOD job done, the repeats are OBVIOUS, it says a lot more about YOU than it ever did about the ass who tried to perpetrate this as a true story. Oh, and spare me the "President Obama never wore a uniform" BULLSHIT, BULLSHIT, BULLSHIT meme because he has donned the uniform of COMMANDER IN CHIEF for the past four years, and you know it. Did *MITT* put on a uniform? Wait, wait, where was Mitt when he was avoiding the draft? Oh *THAT'S* right...in *France*.

(37,648 posts)Obama didn't dodge the draft and go on an all expenses-paid trip to France to unsuccessfully "convert" French people, letting others die in his place in Vietnam, like Romney. If Obama had been old enough, he would've been one of the first drafted, being black, physically fit, and not rich. And his character tells us that he would've done his duty proudly. Nothing in his life indicates that he has ever shirked his duty, unlike Romney.
As for the 2nd...I don't know what he's referring to, about some mistress.

(12,662 posts)I worked with a few guys in the '90's who hated Bill Clinton with a white-hot passion even before he took office because he beat Bush 41 and kept the Reagan Republic from reaching fruition. Primarily it was because Clinton protested the Vietnam war "overseas", which meant, of course, he was supposed to be a slimy draft dodger (even though his number never came up).
Who knows what he would have done if his number had come up, but with as much university as he had already gone through and some of his Arkansas political strings even then, he was probably eligible for any number of deferments or other options that the average draftee would not have been eligible. Course, he still may have served, but if the situation never occurs, how can you judge someone on their reaction.
These are the same guys - mostly Vietnam vets who considered themselves hard-working, sacrificing, and patriotic - for whom Shrub (who got preferential treatment to stay in the TANG and coke himself silly in Alabama while they slogged through the jungles) and 5-deferment Cheney could do no wrong.

(13,200 posts)Carey Coulter was one of the demonstrators alongside Mr Romney that day. He told BuzzFeed.com: We were there to get an education and these people holding the administration hostage was antithetical to that.
Mitt walked up to me and said that he had some experience with the press, and that he would handle the press for me if I wanted him to. I said fine, because I was busy running the demonstration.
I dont recall ever seeing him again.
So Willard shows up to a protest that someone else has organized, finds the press, gets the credit, and then disappears. This is the kind of man that Mitt Romney is. This is the kind of man that he will always be

Fortunate Son
Recorded by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Written by John Fogerty
Some folks are born made to wave the flag
Ooh, they're red, white and blue
And when the band plays "Hail to the chief"
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no senator's son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, no
Yeah!
Some folks are born silver spoon in hand
Lord, don't they help themselves, oh
But when the taxman comes to the door
Lord, the house looks like a rummage sale, yes
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no millionaire's son, no
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, no
Some folks inherit star spangled eyes
Ooh, they send you down to war, Lord
And when you ask them, "How much should we give?"
Ooh, they only answer More! More! More! yoh
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no military son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, one
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate one, no no no
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate son, no no no

Romney's family as far back as 12 generations have not been in military. None of his five strong healthy sons enlisted.

And the Constitution does not require it.
I've never been in the military and I'll be damned if I'm going to be considered a second class citizen forever because of it. That attitude is sickening.
