Just as salt is more plentiful than silver, money is only valuable if it is rare.

The fewer people who have it, the more it's worth to those who do have it.

Therefore, if you are one of those who have it, it's in your interest to see to it that others don't have it.

This is why Republicans block all efforts to make things easier for the poor and middle class. This is why they oppose anything they consider to be "free money" going to those who aren't rolling in it. It's to keep the value of the dollar high.

Not to avoid inflation, to pump up the already bloated.

The ultimate Repug hypocrisy is the issue of illegal immigration. The God-Guns-Abortion faction of the party howls about "those illegals" taking away their jobs, while the Real Republicans ($$$) LOVE illegal immigration because it keeps wages low.

4. Let's not forget how Republicans claim Democrats want illegals here to vote for them.

I swear, it's almost like they don't know how voting works. You will hear them rail about Democrats busing people in to vote,...as if all you have to do it walk in anywhere and they'll just hand you a ballot.
