I haven't been a Republican since 1969...

and the GOP NOW is far worse than it was then.

When I was young, we used to say things like: "It takes a really big DICK to screw a whole country." (referring, of course to Dick Nixon). Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan make Dick Nixon look like a saint.

And I don't think I've ever been conservative. Ever. I hated the smug, patronizing tone of these people since I was about six.
