So. Let me ask you if you would be embarrassed and if you think the Right would be outraged if Michelle Obama said, “Our dog has more style and class in its paw than Republicans do in their whole deal.”

Is this the way you’d like your First Lady to speak of the opposition party? It’s contemptuous of half of the country, and if Michelle Obama compared Republicans unfavorably to the family dog (cute as Bo is), we wouldn’t adore her as we do. It’s just unbecoming, ungracious, and really mean-girl ugly.

Here’s what we’re told by a Romney champion and mega donor that Ann Romney allegedly said about Democrats:

I've never seen people so tacky and classless as the Rmoney family and their supporters. All of that crowd needs to read some ettiquete books to learn how to treat people. People with real class try to make everyone comfortable instead of constantly putting people down and insulting them.
