At least not the ones who have power.

Republicans believe acknowledging climate change would destroy their political and economic worldview.

Denying it will have the same effect of course but they get to hold on to their power for another couple decades.

the facts loudly and frequently and continue to promote factually-challenged policies that are good for their wallets.
