A question about stimulus

Will we get a stimulus check because my family who is clueless about voting said Trump said we are getting on.They say he signed it into law. I told them he les and only congress can make that happen.Only congress can appropriate funds.I have heard nothing but senate is going to jam through judges who is unqualified and not do a dam thing about the millions without jobs and food.Please help me confirm this so i can shut them down. They do not want to hear anything bad about Trump. They keep saying he is going to win and they will not vote. To keep the peace, I just try and stay away from them.I told them not to listen to Fox and Trump.They than find some quack preacher or false prophets on youtube telling us to pray for him because it is out of our hands. It is as if for one of my sisters.some alien came and took her to some other world and brought her back crazy and brain washed.I fear that I can't get through these people. I tell her how bad this man is and what he is doing and she turns her head. She believe in all the conspiracies about Gates and Fauci.It is too much. I hope so much he looses so they can shut up and come back to earth.

It’s strange to me how people use the internet (usually) to verify all their Bizarre ideas. I suppose most people filter news and other inputs thru the lens of their beliefs. But these people fasten on to a belief and no matter how far down the rabbit hole goes they just hold on tighter. I’m thinking of Trumpers mostly but there are non Trumpers too. I got an email last night from a friend. I know he doesn’t like Trump but he thinks there’s some conspiracy about Covid, amongst other things. He sent me a couple videos about Covid that he got if the internet. I watched a little just to see what they were about and verified what I expected. Didn’t watch much and I don’t real dig into what he believes because it’s pretty obviously some crazy shit. I just wrote back that if Covid is fake or being used to manipulate us that would mean it’s a world wide conspiracy which pretty well indicates the idea is BS. At least he’s not a trumper but I’ve learned to bail out on some conversations with him. I don’t think he’s a big Fox watcher. Anyone whose main source of info is Fox isn’t worth talking to.

Thanks for the concern for my brain washed family. I can feel we are about to be done with each other because at least one of them that is brain washed the most does not want to hear it. Anytime I tell her how Fox lies-she goes- all the news media lies. She is really messed up in the head.She use to not be this way. She use to listen and take sound advice from me.Now it is like I am dealing with a woman from the twilight Zone.It is very disheartening and disturbing. She is the one that is influencing my other family member.Sad state of affairs in my family at a time when we need every vote.I have to write her off because I just can't deal with crazy without losing my temper. This makes the mood in my family so depressing.Thank you guys for answering me.
